Lifts in Tarnovo

Two lifts will start from the Old Capital - the one will reach Arbanasi, twisting and turning along the plateau of the ex residence of Todor Jivvkov. The other one will start from Nikola Pikolo's monument in Tarnovo to the empty ground between the two tunnels on the road to Rousse. Thus the tourists will be able to park their cars on a parking lot out of the town instead of loitering around the centre looking for a place to park. The two lifts will be included in the financial plans of the municipal for the first time. 10000 BGN will be used for preliminary studies for the lifts. It is still not clear when the project will be completed as there are still no investors attracted.
