Spring Weather
Generally the weather in spring is difficult to predict. The weather is changeable because of fighting cold north and warm south air masses. The temperatures rise and can reach 20-30 degrees °C but still cold in the night. The snow is mostly in mountains but until March short snow revenges can surprise the lower valleys and flatlands. In the spring Bulgaria is visited by weak cyclones from Turkish or Italian Mediterranean which can cause 3-4 days of rainy weather and clouds. In March there are gravity winds created by the snow covered mountains.
April and first half of May may have days with strong south winds but the temperatures are much higer - about 15-20 °C. From the second half of May until the first half of June the atmosphere becomes more unstable with bigger chances of rain.
The weather at the Black Sea Cost during the spring (May - June) is not good for a Sea vacation, because the colder sea and much warmer land are producing strong sea breeze winds.
