Summer Weather
Temperatures in the summer in Bulgaria can reach 35 degrees °C and nights are warm in flatlands and cool in mountain areas. June is the coldest month with daily temperatures around 22 °C. The typical North-West and North-East winds in July and August bring cooler air but generally they are the hottest months in the year and perfect for a sea vacation. Surprisingly sea breeze can be strong and persistent in August.
